In a most colorful event hosted at the the District Assembly Hall the Wassa East District Health Directorate held its annual performance review under the theme “Accelerating Implementation of Network of Practice to attain Universal Health Coverage”.
The event which was geared towards promoting health and healthcare in the district also served as a motivation for various stakeholders in the sector. The ceremony saw some stakeholders receive acknowledgements and recognition for their service to the sector.
The program also served as inauguration of a District Health committee which will as an advisory body to the District Director of Health Service. The committee members pledged themselves to serving and aiding in the continuous improvement of health and health services delivery in the district.
