A heavy rainstorm has ripped off the roof of the Bienuye D/A Primary School, prompting an urgent visit by the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Wassa East, Hon. Alhassan Ibrahim and other officials to assess the damage.
The DCE, accompanied by the District NADMO Director, Ms. Elizabeth Princess Komotey, an Assistant Director (IIA), Mr. Maxwell Gyan and the Assembly Member for the Atobiase Electoral Area, Hon. Francis Boateng visited the school to evaluate the extent of the destruction.
During the visit, the team assessed the situation firsthand and interacted with school authorities. Hon. Alhassan Ibrahim assured the community of the Assembly’s swift intervention to restore the facility, emphasizing that teaching and learning must resume without delay. He further reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to the safety and welfare of both pupils and staff.

Beyond the school, the DCE paid a courtesy call on the chief of Bienuye and later engaged with community members. He encouraged them to remain calm while steps were being taken to address the situation.
